Acewell digital speedo for cars, motorbikes, quad bikes and kit cars
A digital speedo is an ideal replacement a damaged analogue speedometer or for new kit car builds.
There are many applications for a digital speedo and a few of them are listed below.
Kitcars
Often wheels or tyre sizes on a kitcar will be different to those of the donor vehicle,
and this is likley to make the original donor vehicle (analogue) speedo inaccurate.
Recalibrating is difficult and expensive so fitting an Acewell digital speedo
is often the preferred choice as most include all the functions required for the IVA test.
Motorcycles
Following a motorcyle accident the
original manufacturers clocks will often be damaged beyond repair. A much cheaper solution than replacing
with a new manufacturers set is to replace with an Acewell digital speedo
Quad Bikes
An "off road" quad bike is unlikley to have had a factory fitted speedo and therefore
is unable to be used on a public road. However "off road" bikes can be converted for road use
and requirement for an accurate speedometer is easily solved by installing a
quad bike digital speedometer.
These are just a few of the common uses for digital speedos that we have come across but
there are many more applications like track events and driving school cars, where the factory fitted speedo is not visable from the passenger seat.
